Hands-on barber training in Kathmandu, Nepal
Barbering is a hands-on art and so should not be taught as a classroom lesson without practical experience. Confidence is built with the use of the professional tools and techniques used in the barbering industry through a blend of guided instruction and hands-on training provided by Apex Skills Academy.

The beginners begin by trying out the basic haircutting skills on mannequins under the supervision of the trainer. This enables the student to learn about cutting angles and movement of the clipper, sectioning, blending, and basic styles.

While students learn the basic services, they may practice a few of those services with live models, supervised by the trainer. Allows them to get experience in real client needs, hair textures, and service situations.

How does the training work?
Our center in Kathmandu provides training classes for barbers. There are two branches, New-Baneshwor and Chabahil. The morning classes are held at the Chabahil branch, and evening classes are held at the New-Baneshwor branch. You perform on mannequin heads, under the trainer's supervision, and on the live models in a realistic environment for barbering. The batch size is small, and each student is trained under supervision and under proper instructions.

What is NOT included?
Expenses on traveling and accommodation of students outside Kathmandu. Personal tools that are purchased outside of class hours for practice.
